For the convenience of it's residents Melrose Township operates a refuse transfer station with recycle facilities. Through a contractual agreement this facility is also available to residents of Chandler Township. The per-yard cost of refuse disposal is established by the Melrose Township Board during the annual budget hearing in March. For current rates go to the Schedule of Fees. |

Hours of Operation
Saturday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Monday 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Friday 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (June, July, and August only)

Recycle Information
Melrose Township participates in the county recycling program and our transfer station serves as a point of collection for recycleable materials. For details on what materials can be recycled and other requirements please visit the Charlevoix County Recycling Program.
